The Songwriter Behind the Songs
Real music, written by a real person, from your real story.

Meet Tayla Cheyenne
Tayla has been writing poetry since she could hold a pen — and winning awards for it almost as long.
She grew up in a house full of music — the 70s classics, the 80s anthems, the 90s everything — and absorbed all of it. She can sing, she can rap, and she knows exactly what makes a lyric land and what makes it fall flat. Not because she studied it, but because she's lived inside music her whole life.
Her rule has never changed: "If it doesn't rhyme, it's not a line."
What makes Tayla different from every other songwriter or AI generated template you'll find online is simple: she finds songs in places nobody else thinks to look. A tiny button at the bottom of a payment page became a full country song. A boyfriend's Ford bakkie inspired a track that sounds like it belongs on country radio. A friend's cancer journey - and the underwear brand she built to remind every woman, in every hard moment, that she's got this - became something between Christina Aguilera and Moulin Rouge.
When Tayla is working on a song, she goes quiet. Focused. She'll write through the night without looking up - and somewhere around sunrise she'll surface with something that makes you wonder how she pulled it from thin air. She didn't. She found it in the details you gave her. The small true things that nobody else would think to use.
Give her one moment, one memory, one feeling - and she'll find the song that was always hiding inside it.
Tayla Cheyenne writes and produces all Keepsong Studio songs. Her original work is available under the artist name Dan Taylor on Spotify and Apple Music.
A Personal Note
I believe every moment deserves a voice.
Every song I write begins the same way - with a conversation.
I take time to understand your story, your memories, and the people who matter most.
Every Keepsong is written from scratch.
I don't use templates & I don't recycle lyrics.
I craft your song in the musical style that feels most authentic to you.
If I can make someone smile, cry, laugh or remember a moment they thought they'd forgotten, then I've achieved what I set out to do.
I'd be honoured to tell your story next.
